This licence authorises the licensee to supply liquor on the licensed premises in sealed containers, bottles or cans for consumption off the licensed premises.
For example a packaged liquor licence may be granted for bottle shops and supermarkets.

Wineries that sell packaged liquor would normally apply for either a Wine and beer producer's licence or a Renewable limited licence.
