



New Entrant Training (NET) is a training standard developed by the VCGLR to ensure that applicants have an adequate knowledge of the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998.
This includes:
An application for a liquor licence will not be granted until NET has been completed for all liquor licence categories except for a BYO permit and pre-retail licence.
Applicants who need to complete NET are:
If applicants have already undertaken an approved NET course, a copy of the training certificate should be included with the licence application.
The following courses are recognised by the VCGLR as new entrant training.
