Licensees who conduct wholesale sales to other liquor licences must report their 2015-16 transactions to the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR).
The wholesale reporting portal will remain open until midnight 21 August 2016 AEST to ensure all licensees have the opportunity to report their data to the VCGLR.
The legal reporting deadline of 15 August 2016 continues to apply. However, the VCGLR may consider submissions received from licensees up until 21 August 2016 in relation to their 2015-16 wholesale sales data.
Licensees must use the CSV report template approved by the VCGLR. The report template has specific headers for each liquor type, volume, container size and total dollar amount as required by the Liquor Control Reform (Wholesale Liquor Supply Information) Regulations 2015 (PDF, 72KB).
Licensees must not change the layout or format of the template. Any changes of this type will be rejected by the portal as invalid; and depending on the changes, licensees may be required to reformat or clean the data before resubmitting.
Licensees may download the report template directly from the wholesale sales data - collecting and reporting webpage.
Some small producers may be exempt from reporting. For full details on reporting requirements, exemptions and how to report see the wholesale sales data - collecting and reporting webpage and Wholesale sales reporting Wholesale transactions - Frequently Asked Questions.
