With daylight savings fast approaching, some licensees and gaming venue operators will be affected by the one hour change in time.
Daylight savings begins on Sunday 7 October at 2:00am (Eastern Standard Time), which means that at 2:00am clocks should be moved forward one hour to 3:00am.
Licensees who trade beyond 2am will lose one hour of trade. Affected licensees are reminded they must meet the conditions of their liquor licence at all times including the specified trading hours listed.
Gaming venue operators must ensure gaming activities do not take place outside of authorised hours and should check their gaming machines automatically go forward an hour.
