The Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR) is making it easier for licensees to better communicate with patrons who speak little or no English.
The new fact sheet (PDF, 1.97 MB) covers the below liquor licensing laws and has been translated into Hindi, Simplified Chinese, Vietnamese and Japanese:
This resource is aimed to ensure as many patrons as possible understand the obligations that licensees and their staff must follow when serving liquor at a licensed venue.
The VCGLR is committed to making sure liquor licensing information is accessible in multiple languages. A number of translated resources can be found on our other languages page on the VCGLR website.
