As university and college students get ready to take part in Orientation Week (O-Week) activities, licensees are being reminded to be extra vigilant.
Every year students celebrate O-Week across Victoria from mid-February to early March. Venues located close to universities and colleges should be planning for the potential increase of minors attempting to purchase alcohol or enter licensed venues as well as patron intoxication.

A reminder that as of 13 September 2018, new laws came into effect prohibiting the supply of all liquor to minors on licensed premises. Licensees are encouraged to remind their staff of the changes to the law.
